About Us
Schaffer Construction - Designs for Life is a Loudoun County based Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
(CAPS) providing remodeling services to Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, Fauquier, Prince William and surrounding areas.
We provide all aspects of remodeling solutions to homeowners, specializing in custom kitchens, custom baths, whole house safety and accessibility modifications for our parents and friends with disabilities.
In 2007 we earned our Certified-Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) certification that qualifies us to provide this much needed service to our parents and people with disabilities. We are proud to be one of a few contractors in Northern Virginia to have earned this title.
Following this path has opened our eyes to a shortage of qualified providers in our communities that serve this growing population. We continue to educate ourselves to provide our clients the best possible safety and access solutions that will keep them in their own home.
A majority of our home modifications are considered “immediate need services” and are required as a direct result of a fall related injury.
Fall prevention education in our communities will reduce the number of injuries directly related to a fall.
We are proud to be a founding member of the Northern Virginia Fall Prevention Coalition currently providing Fall Prevention Seminars throughout Loudoun and Fairfax Counties.
